Happy December! It is usually one of the busiest months for career services providers with all our potential and former clients deciding now is the time to start making sure they have what they need to attain those new year’s career goals.
How are you setting boundaries to protect your wellbeing this holiday season?
Here are a few thoughts for managing this busy time:
- Decide when you want to work and when you don’t and stick to it. A calendaring app is great for this, as long as you don’t start offering times outside that window to prospects via email!

- Use this busy time as a catalyst to start systemizing your process. Capture those emails you send every time. Yes, it will take a few minutes, but it will save even more.
- Block out your calendar for more “me time” than usual. You have more errands to run and will have a hard time focusing if you don’t have time to get those done.
While this may be a busy time, it is also your time to plan to achieve what you want out of 2022.
