If you are new around here, you might be a bit confused about Career Jam.
You may also not be familiar with Wendy Enelow, the founder of Career Thought Leaders and visionary behind the event.
Twelve years ago, Wendy started Career Jam (then called Global Career Brainstorming Day) to bring other visionary career services providers together to share their experiences and learn from each other while also having an opportunity to be published in an industry white paper.
The event has evolved over recent years, changing to focus on how “megatrends” – factors like technology, economic trends, and social trends – are impacting careers and our work.

But the focus continued of bringing career pros together – in person and online – to build connection and learn.
We’ve been ahead of the curve many times, including talking about the importance of remote work and diversity during our 2019 event (download that White Paper for tips on those trends that are still relevant today!).
We’ve also missed the mark – I explore some of our bloopers in this video.
Then, last year, when people were disappointed about missing the in-person element, we decide to add a new element with presenters sharing an overview of the trends before we dove into group discussions. This also enabled a global element that will continue this year with speakers from Nigeria, Singapore, Turkey, the US, and more!
We also adjusted the White Paper to better feature quotes from attendees. You can download last year’s paper here to get a look.
So, today (well, two weeks from now) Career Jam attendees receive:
- Access to 8 presentations from experts in Jobs of the Future, Job Search Technology; Hiring Technology; Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion; and the Great Resignation and Hybrid Work.

- And, of course, the priceless value of connecting and building relationships with your peers globally in the small group discussions you attend live.
