... a cheeky little take on three reasons why you and your clients don’t need to manage your personal brand: 1. You Prefer for Others to Decide Your Story
Getting passed over for fun projects or continually called by clients that are not a good fit … this is what happens when you are not clear – every day – about your strengths and what you want. 2. You Would Rather Sell Yourself Then Attract Opportunities
Continually selling your value to earn a promotion, land a job, or grow your business … this leaves you exhausted. When you are clear about who you are, what you love to do, and why you love what you do – you attract your dream opportunities.
3. You Want to Be a Commodity
Being paid an average wage and closing sales based on the PRICE of your product or service … those are the hallmarks of a commodity. When you are not clear about how you add value in a distinct way, you become “generic.”
