This week has been a little reminder for me of what fills my cup. Tech Jam has brought us together to look at the new and the next in technology for business and career services (we just finished up learning about Career Coach Bob from Bayes Impact). I could learn all day! This sometimes gets in the way, and I've realized how important it is for me to set time aside for it. Even better, I've figured out how to monetize it! |

What are some of those tasks that make you lose track of time? How does it show up in your work every day? What could you do to get more of it? We often ask these questions of clients, but are you asking them of yourself? Especially if we're in business for ourselves, we can feel a lot of pressure to do certain things because it is more profitable, more efficient, or "smarter business." While it might be true that selling products could be more lucrative than one-on-one coaching, we have to filter this type of advice through our own knowledge of how we want to spend our day. Is there a way you could use your strengths AND achieve those business goals? If you're feeling like you need to change up your business model, you might benefit from listening to this Live from Tuesday on exploring the myths and realities of selling services, products, and courses. We'll also be having a discussion about this on Clubhouse tomorrow. Asperger’s/Autism Employment Coach Certification Summer 2021
The Asperger’s/Autism Employment Coach Certification is an 8-week program that features live instruction and mentoring. It focuses on how to assist individuals to choose the right career, find a job, and stay hired. Weekly sessions are live over the Internet, and feature discussions, interactive exercises, and case studies. Assignments include readings, short answer questions, and case study reviews. Participants gain hands-on experience during a 6-week supervised practicum. The summer program begins on June 17 with morning sessions. Group size is limited and an application is required. Information is available on the Forward Motion Coaching website. |
